About Roam Window

Roam Window is an independent, privacy-first travel-day planner built to make the Schengen 90/180 rule easier to inspect.

Why it exists

A rolling 180-day window is awkward to reason about from passport stamps or a calendar. Roam Window turns those dates into a ledger you can review, correct, export, and use for tentative trip planning.

The calculator works without an account. Completed and planned trips stay in browser storage unless you deliberately enable an online feature such as account sync or an email reminder.

How we handle accuracy

Guides are written against European Union sources and link to those sources so that you can check the wording yourself. The calculator is tested against worked date ranges, but it remains a planning aid—not a decision by a border authority.

For a second calculation, use the European Commission short-stay calculator. If your visa, residence status, nationality, bilateral agreement, or travel purpose creates an exception, ask the relevant consulate or border authority.

What we are building

The public calculator and educational guides remain the starting point. Optional account features are designed around explicit consent: signing in does not upload an existing local ledger, and cloud sync is a separate choice.

Questions or corrections are welcome through the contact form.
