How the Schengen 90/180 calculator works
The calculator places each entered Schengen stay inside the relevant rolling 180-day look-back period. Entry and exit dates both count as presence days, and multiple stays are combined before remaining days or a planned trip are evaluated.
Use complete Schengen-area travel dates and compare high-stakes plans with the European Commission calculator. Visa validity, border decisions, residence permits, bilateral waivers, and other status-specific rules sit outside this arithmetic.
